The wedding day will be photographed and sometimes video-taped but what about documenting the experience of planning your wedding itself? I suggest to all my clients (and I include it in their packages) a wedding journal. This not only acts as the bible for massive note taking, invitation list making, and an exploration of ideas to ponder but it also can be a wonderful scrapbook of memories during the process of planning your wedding day. Can you imagine looking back and seeing the fun ideas you thought about including? Maybe look at what final details made it to the wedding and how they were interpreted. The wedding day should be such a wonderful experience but so should planning it. So grab a notebook, carry it around with you and start the journey.
